Default Sway Bar Axle Bracket

The other day I heard my tires rubbing on something and checked it out to find out it was the JKS sway bar disconnect had come off at the sway bar end and was rubbing the tire. I ordered new parts from JKS and while I was waiting for them to come in decided to check out the brackets. I found that the bracket on the axle was bent almost at a 45 degree angle. So I bent it back with a crow bar, now I'm worried that I may have weakened the metal.

Question - Do you guys think the metal has weakened? Second, anyone else had this happen to them? Was was the cause? Since then the JKS parts came in and are installed. All is good, just worried about it happening again or the bracket breaking off the axle

im sure its fine, but if you're that worried, it is a very simple bracket. you can have someone make and weld on another bracket for you. after all, it is just a tab with a hole in it. but i think you're fine
