Default Vacuum Pump 101 for 2012 JK Owners (Pic Attached)

Here is a pic of the PIA vacuum pump on the 2012 models---driver's side. This is my JK as I was stripping off the OEM junk "bumper". The issue is the bracket that holds it. Most bumpers will slide over top of it, but the real issue is the bracket that holds it interfering with the new bumper mounts.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL: Just do yourself a favor and order the $25 relocation kit. It's a PIA ripping all that stuff off only to find that you have to order a new part. Just have the kit handy. Check out the "under the hood" kit. I didn't have to use it for my Hyline Bumper, but I did have to Dremel around the included brackets to cut around the vacuum pump bracket to get them to bolt down solid.
