Default Poison Spyder front license plate mount?

So thanks to the huge number of replies to my bumper thread, I have decided to get the PSC brawler lite. I'm in VA so a front plate is required by law. Does anyone have ideas on a mounting solution? I won't be running a winch for awhile so mounting to the fairlead is a no go at this time. I thought about zip tying the plate to the grill but that seems pretty lame and a decent way to obstruct air flow... thoughts? pics?

Just jumping in here, you made a great choice on the PSC. I have their product on my JK and some on my TJ. The quality is outstanding and you will be very happy.

Not sure about the license plate issue as I'm trying to figure out the same thing. Dropped my brawler lite off at the powder coater on Wednesday before I left for Christmas.

I'm using a company out of Fredericksburg, we'll see how they do. Not cheap though!

Did you get it from northridge? If so was there any particular reason that you went another route for powdercoating vs getting it done from them?

Thanks! I'm pretty excited. There are a lot of great choices out there but after comparing quite a few I settled on the PSC for the fact that it's relatively light, very robust, offers a great look and is made in the USA.

They were all out of the powder coated ones when I ordered from Dave Once it's done maybe we can get together so I can see how their coating compares. This shop is doing two coats of Vulcan black. It won't be as shiny as if he were to put a clear coat on, I'm going for a more flat black, but still want it to be tough.

Yeah we should. I haven't ordered it yet. I have to let my AMEX cool off a little from the holidays but next week I should be pulling the trigger.

Reading this thread doesn't make me feel as good about fudging up holding my license plate to the front without a fairlead.

I was feeling pretty scout-ish and just used an old pair headphones from the back of the jeep. Looped it through and holes, tight as can be.

Can't wait till a winch gets in there, then i can do a fairlead mount as well.

That looks great. I would do something similar but I think that the actual spider cut out is a neat design aspect and I would hate to cover it with a plate. If I was using a bumper similar to your I would do what you did.
