Default Question about spacer lift

I put on some 2" spacers and still have stock shocks and sway bar links (for now). Will this actually perform worse than stock? Could I possibly damage my shocks? (cause I don't have extensions?

you don't say how you are going to use your jk. That will determine what, if anything, could occur...

You should be fine with only 2". I would look to replace the front sway links with adjustable disconnects or longer links but you won't damage anything with only 2 inches.

I don't want to get into any hairy rock crawlin, but would like to go wheelin in the desert which could get a little rocky. I probably will get longer sway links but in the meantime, do you foresee any possible damage with this setup?

No worries. I wheel my rubi with stock shocks and 2" spacer lift all the time. No damage and it clears my 34" tires great. Much improved wheeling over stock.
