The threads on the spindle are trashed...by the looks of the cardboard patch job that was done to the box, I'm Assuming the bumper was dropped at some point BEFORE it left Morris 4x4. The top 2 threads were bent downward and some other threads look like they were grinded on??? I didn't notice this until after I mounted the bumper, which was a pain in the ass to do myself,

Anyone have experience with bestop customer service or Morris 4x4? Morris was good to work with ordering the bumper so I'm hoping they'll find a way to work this out. These bumpers are on backorder though :(. What to do, what to do????

Sorry man, my stomach just got a lump. I ordered my bumper on Friday. hope you get it resolved quickly and its a one-off issue.

 

Good news, bestop is sending a new bumper. Won't be for another couple weeks though.

 

Glad to hear you don't have to wait too much longer, I'm sure it was quite a while in the first place.
I'm expecting to receive mine the ends of the month.

....just curiosity....did you contact the seller and they handled it and told you another one was coming your way or did you contact the manufacturer directly? Did they ask that you ship back the first bumper first or what about that?

 

I contacted the seller, they asked for pics and sent them to bestop. Bestop said they would replace the bumper under warranty and would ship it directly to me. Since the old bumper is damaged and being replaced under warranty they aren't making me send it back. Which means a little reworking of the spindle threads and it'll be up for sale!

 

The bumper is for JK? is this a full lenght bumper? are there fog light cut outs? do you have the stinger bar with it? how much???? please sned me a PM with price and pics!!! i'm in Lake Charles LA.
