Default Stiff rear springs

I am stuck on whether or not to lift my Jeep. I would like to keep is low to the ground to keep the center of gravity lower.

However, I have been thinking about putting a 2-3 inch lift on my Jeep.

One thing that will help me to decide which dirrection to go is the springs.

I want to stiffen up the rear end of my Jeep.

I have a 2010 Wrangler two door stick. I have added Rock Hard 4x4 rear bumper system and that weighted down the back of my Jeep.

I would like to raise it back up with stiffer springs.

I cannot tell by reading the advertisement which springs/coils will be stiffer.

Any personal experiences out there?

Thanks,
John

After reading another post, I now have to ask, do I need stiffer springs, or stiffer shocks?

Progressive springs and a good shock. Rock Krawler can build their rrd shocks how you want them. Give em a call. Great folks.

I think I have finally settled on what I am going to do. I was looking at Skyjacker 2.5-3.5 lift kit with Rancho adjustle shocks. I have the feeling this will take care of me.

You could always go with the OME lift with the heavy duty springs. Will give you about 3 inches or so and a great ride

I will look at theres. I am still leaning toward the Skyjacker 2.5-3.5 lift kit. It is resonably priced and from what I read, they are a bit stiff as well.

There is a cat in Golden that did a huge amount of work on my buddies Jeep. RMB Offroad. His resonably priced and uses Yukon gears. As well, I think I have decided on the 4.88.

Thanks all for your help.

i've run a lot of different springs on my JK from soft to stiff and can tell you that i personally would not want "stiffer" springs. while they might keep you from sagging in the rear, they will provide a harsh uncomfortable ride. i personally would recommend that you install a taller soft coil and if needed, install a coil spacer to help compensate for the difference. if you plan on rock crawling your jeep, i also would recommend against dual/progressive rate coils as it has been my experience they do not offer very good stuff and a lot of times, end up having the softer rate wides go solid prematurely thus offering a harsh ride once again. but, that's just me based on my experiences.

oh, another option you might want to look into is installing air bags...

Rusty's 3.25" all the way. $550 plus shipping gets you shocks, springs, and adjustable track bars. It is a little stiffer which should help with your problem.
