Well I did a little search to nothing serious so im going public......

I may be jumping the gun and getting my hopes up but I am possibly getting a new job next week.....i have always dreamed of a hemi and now it will be very very easy.

For those who have had a hemi swap done what motor and how much. I looked at aev and its around $40,000 for a 6.4 with one of these "package" deals but what about other places?

 

I was at AEV's shop a few weeks ago and was quoted around 20K for the 5.7vvt and 25K for the 6.1 vvt but nowhere near 40K

x2 on the Burnsville Off Road implant. I think if you want straight out performance they are the go to guys. After seeing all the work done by them and Nemesis (sort of the Burnsville "West" in CO, the shops have a working relationship). These guys know Hemi performance upgrades!! And both Nemesis and BOR are a JK Forum sponsor.

 

I was referring to there package deal as far as lift tires bumper plus motor swap....but I really only want motor since I have lift and bumpers.

 

Cant believe I over looked them. I will look at them also.

 

I also recommend you look at Trailjeeps in Boulder. They use the AEV kits and do a great job. Have 5k miles on my 5.7vvt swap they did and feels like it came from the factory...about $20k complete turn key...2 weeks turnover time. For a little more, they do 6.4s, and even a turbo diesel. Check out their shop or their Facebook page...they always have builds going on.
