I would consider skipping the budget boost and body lift and getting a coil spring lift. Your stock coils will probably sag a lot with the weight of a winch and some armor, even more if you load a lot of stuff up to go camping.

I did an evap cooler skid rather than relocate, there have been some people who seemed to have issues after relocating.

i edited the original post. items in green i already have installed.

I have already planned on swaping out the spring spacers for teraflex coil springs after the bumper, winch and armor is in place.

I think my biggest concerns with this build is two questions:

1. Will the D30 survive locked with 35's given the planned mods?

2. Will a 2dr on 35's and a winch get you through a trail like the rubicon without constantly winching?

You should be fine with 35's on the rubicon. Also the spring lift is better just for spring rate, ride, and flex. A locked Dana 30 is alright as long as you Are easy on it. Good luck!

ya the locker in the front wouldn't be used all the time and when engaged, I would drive it like it was a locked D30 on 35's

the reason im looking to build to a 35" tire is in order to move up to a 37, 38" tire there's going to be substantially more money needed (ie new front axle, wheels, lift...ect) for a recreational wheeler and for taking a trip every couple years to moab or rubicon. a 35" tire seems to be a good compromise.

Any other opinions on a 35" tire being an ideal "all around tire size?

Also what are peoples thoughts on a built up D30 with 35"s

I think 35's are a great all around size. Still very streetable yet great off road. I would gusset the D30 but driving style plays a big part in problems with them. Go easy on it and it should hold up fine
