Im going to get one tomorrow. Witch one would u pick?the lp8500 $299,the warn vr10000-$539.

X2 on that! you need to consider how much power you need/want, the Warn is stronger than the 8500. Either winch is a good one, just different prices and pulling power. If you can find the LP 10000 I can vouch for it

My reply to this question every time is to check and see which winch has spare parts available. All winches will fail at some point but if you can't get parts to fix them you are the proud owner of a boat anchor instead of a repairable piece of equipment needed to get you out of trouble.
