Default DiabloSport Trinity or Superchips Vivid

Please help me decide which one to get.

The differences I have found already are...

DiabloSport Trinity - does not use wireless... some say that is better to avoid hacking the Bluetooth and wireless interference possibilities.
DiabloSport Trinity - allows custom tunes.
DiabloSport Trinity - allows more than one vehicle

Superchips Vivid - uses wireless Bluethooth.
Superchips Vivid - inclinometer, gps, games, camcorder, backup camera, etc, other uses.
Superchips Vivid - does not allow custom tunes.
Superchips Vivid - does not allow more than one vehicle.

Does anyone know of any other differences?

Are there any configs you cant do with one but you can with the other? I think as of the latest firmware for the Trinity, you can do just about all that Vivid does relating to 4wd mods.

Which one should I go with?

Thanks in advance...

Whoever offers the best support for your 2007 ... Keep in mind though if you decide to trade for a 2012 JKU, I would consider the DiabloSport Trinity for the following reasons:

1. Custom tuning capability...
2. Five years experience with the 2012 Automatic Trans
3. Assuming shift points can be changed, they'll probably be the first to offer it

The Vivid offers advanced transmission tuning as well as an inclinometer, GPS, custom guages and well...includes a full functioning Android tablet with endless possibilities. The Vivid gets my vote.

I have the Trinity as well, and like it. Bubba already mentioned tunes -- So I'll mention the virtual gauges. I leave it suctioned-cupped to the windshield next too the GPS; coolant temp, intake air temp, spark-knock detection, long/short term fuel trends, etc. I have 4 pages with 4 gauges per page.

If you end up with a Trinity and want to have it on the dash, the wire cable can run concealed from the ODBII connector, behind the plactic trim, and up to the dash near the lower left corner of the windsheild. I ended up mounting the trinity nearer to the center of the dash to avoid intermittant TPMS communication loss issues (TPMS can be a little fussy about stuff on the dash).

Thanks for the replies.

From what I read so far elsewhere and from this thread, it sounds like the Trinity is more a hardcore "tuner", whereas the Vivid is an average "tuner" with the bells and whistles for other uses, ie GPS, Camera, Backup Camera, etc.

Perhaps the Vivid is good for one who doesn't want to custom tune anything, rather go with canned tunes and sees the added bells and whistles as good bonuses.

I believe the Vivid has a 4wd Crawl feature or mod that the Trinity does not.

Is this accurate... the Trinity does not have this?

Is it really a disadvantage to not have it?

Thanks...

I saw that Diablo Sports has a new tuner called inTune. How does it compare with the Trinity?

Trinity has a "Performance Crawl" tune -- I use it.
