Default Anyone run a double front track bar?

I was talking to a mechanic for Jeep the other day and he said he fixed a JK's death wobble by adding a second front track bar. Said he got longer bolts and had to grind down a bit near the "hump" and the problem was solved. He said he also put a heavy duty steering stabilizer from a Ram 3500 on it. Said the steering was nice and tight and didn't waiver a bit over a bump.

What do you all think?

I don't even know how you would run 2 trac bars? As for the SS, 99.9% of the time it has nothing to do with death wobble..

DW is usually just caused by loose bolts. Check the Planman's check-list for all the info.

A new stabilizer just masks the problem till it gets worse.

I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just not sure how it would actually be accomplished or why you would need to do it... I'd def like to see pics as well if anyone is running this setup...

That's what I thought too. We have a 2008 JKU with a 2" teraflex lift at work and has recently been experiencing death wobble. My coworker driving it at the time took it to the dealer ship to have it fixed. They called and said it was a bad SS (after market) and needed a 4 tire balance and rotation. I inquired about other causes of death wobble and he said this will fix it. So we'll see of its fixed on Tues when we pick it up. The only reason I agreed to the repair was because if the SS was in fact bad its gonna need to be replaced anyways and the tire balance and rotation couldn't hurt as I'm unsure the last time that has been done. We're not allowed to do our own repairs do to liability issues otherwise I could have saved us prob about $150+ by doing it myself. Stupid rules...haha
