Default Boost Gauge RIPP Supercharger

I bought a RIPP Supercharger the other day and was going to buy aeroforce gauges to monitor my boost. My question is do I need to buy aeroforces map sensors to monitor boost or does RIPP supply one? If RIPP does supply one will the aeroforce guage be able to read boost with it plugged into the OBD2 port or do I need to do something for it to work?

Use a mechanical boost gauge, all you do is run vacuum tubing and splice into the vacuum line with a t fitting. Just make sure you keep an eye on the t fitting over the long term. The rubber tends to go brittle being exposed to all the heat and gasses in the engine compartment. They are good for a year or two before needing replacement.
If you are sincerely interested in monitoring performance, you might consider an afr gauge as well, they are spendy, but worthwhile for staying on top of your tuning. Word to the wise, Make sure to buy one that connects to the O2 sensor. The obd ones are kind of useless.

If you're gona do it....Do it Right!! Us a system that is expandable and capable of giving you all the info you will require as you learn more about it!
I've done many FI systems and these guys have the $hit! http://www.zeitronix.com/ Not only in my ride....But I've installed this in 5 builds I've done for my buddies. You don't have to do all at once you can add to the system later!
you can:
- Monitour info from the gauge
- Log thru it using a Diablo
- Record thru the gauge

You can cover these items:
-AFR
-Lambda (Used to calc AFR and If you're running e85)
-Vac to Boost
- RPM
- Throttle position
- EGT's
- Fuel Pressure
- AIT's

If you work thru your fuel system to make a Hybrid ....My Cahllenger Runs Gasoline or e85.....They have what you need there too!

No need .....A MAP's a MAP other than how many Bar's they are. Yeah....Its a killer set-up!! And like I said you can work your way into more of the sensors as you learn
about your FI system, your needs and where you'd like to take it.
