Default drag link tie rod ends

My JK tie rod is pretty bent up and it's certainly not getting any better. A friend of mine mentioned that a high quality Aluminum tie rod like they used on his rock buggy can take a pretty darn good hit and "flex" right back. Cutting & Threading the Aluminum is not a problem. The problem seems to be in:

1. finding tie rod ends that are bent to work on the JK because a straight tie rod end will make the tie rod run into the diff cover and/or steering stablizer

2. finding one with the correct taper and/or what is "close" but bigger. I could then ream the current one out a bit to match.

Anyone create a new tie rod or replace there current tie rod? and what did you use?

Yes there is at least one heavy duty tie rod I know of but the company is banned from being mentioned here.

I'm not sure why they are banned. I read the terms of use to make sure because it was my understanding we could discuss non-sponsoring vendors products as long as we weren't posting links to their sites.

The product purveyor in question was explicitly banned along with another vendor.

I read that link before I posted, but I have to say I have some concerns on this one. I sent a more detailed message to wayoflife regarding my concerns. As a community member, I'd like to be able to discuss products from this company. They have several unique solutions which I'm sure other's in the JK community will be using. One of the most important things about a community is the ability to communicate our experiences. I don't know what has transpired on the back end to have this particular vendor specifically black listed, but going forward this is ultimately going to hurt the entire community. I'm not trying to sell their solutions, but I am a customer of their solutions and I'd like to be able to discuss my experience--both positive and negative--with other members.

If this comes back to a money issue--why not create a sponsoring user catagory that allows us to pay for unrestricted posting (within the boundaries of good taste and with regards to JK content)

It's not a money issue. I know some of the details that came up in a discussion before, but I will not bring it up, because I don't think WayOfLife wants us to talk about it. I certainly understand your concerns, because I like the idea of strengthening that part of my Jeep, but I wouldn't want to do business with them.

Default has anyone used any but "this vendor"?

Ok, I am glad there is a solution but, has anyone used any thing else? Has anyone used this said solution? is it super strong? it looks to be straight acrossed this looks likes it would hit the diff cover since the stock one is bent a little bit from the factory?? anyone have experience with this or anything else?

That is a high steer draglink, but I think the tie rod is still located in the factory location.
