Rubi coils/shocks on 08 JK 4 door?
What all will I need to do to be able to run rubi coils and shocks on my 08 JK 4 door? I currently have stock wheels with 33 X 10.5 mud terrains. Also could I use other Rubi years? (like 07 or 10 for my 08?)
Thanks for the help in advance

The year doesn't matter, but there is no such thing as "rubicon coils". They are no different than any other Wrangler. If you want stiffer, taller coils, you have to check the last two numbers of the model number on the tag of your coil. The highest rated are 19 for front and 60 for rear. You can order 19/60's from a Mopar parts dealer.
Remove the old ones... Install the new ones. I just installed 18/59 coils and Rubi Shocks. It was easy as I was prepared.
Make sure you have a saw with a metal cutting blade handy. I had to cut the front shocks just below the washer to get them out cause the top bolt was rusted and it's a PITA to get a wrench on it.
Have a good floor jack available when drooping the axles, not those 1.5 ton cheapies. I grabbed a 3 ton from Harbor Freight for $59 with coupon and it worked great. Get some good jack stands for the frame... I have 3 ton and I wish I had 6 ton for peace of mind. The JK shifts a bit when drooping the axle and you may have a oh shit that's not right moment.
Make sure you have a decent length socket extension for accessing the rear upper shock bolts.
Get a coil tool so you can keep the rears compressed when drooping. With the rear sway link disco'd you still don't have much room since the brake lines will be taught.
The fronts will pretty much fall out on their own when you disco the front and droop.
Download TF install instructions for their leveling kit if you want pictures. The instructions don't mention disconnecting the bottom bolt on the rear sway links but you'll want to for more room to work.

yea, I was just trying to go cheap other wise I would be doing a 3" TF from my dealer. (to keep my warranty) I just figured rubi shocks/coils would be quick, easy, and cheap. Does anyone else think this, that I won't get much lift if any if I add 18/59 coils or 19/60 coils?
