Default RK 2.5 max travel did I get the wrong shocks??

I installed the 2.5 Rk max travel kit last weekend and notice the front shocks seemed little short. The shock I ordered are Bilstein 24-146708 fronts and 24-146715 for the rears. These are the shocks that the guy said I needed but the fronts seemed to be a little short are these the right ones?

According to their site, Rock Krawler recommends:

Front - BE5-E578-HO
Rear - BE5-E671-HO

Those are old numbers. According to Bilstein's site, they correspond to:

Front - 24-186995
Rear - 24-146715

The fronts you got are shorter, and incorrect.

I spoke with Rock Krawler when I got my lift, and the shocks they recommend are for a 3-5" lift. When I got mine from 4wp they tried to sell me the shorter shock for a 2.5" lift. It will work, just restrict travel. I have the longer shocks that RK recommends and they have been great.

Bummer. I ordered my RK 2.5" Max Pro from the forum 4WD.com rep Bryan. Great price and correct parts. Maybe something to keep in mind down the road, bud.

Just got my kit today! Instructions are incomprehensible, astounding that something this expensive cannot have its own set of instructions. Shame on you RK!!
For this reason alone I would not recommend this kit if your going to install it yourself!
