Default AEV Procal and 33's?

I've read alot about 35's and regearing and the Procal, but I haven't found much on 33's.

My question is do I really need to get the Procal with just 33's.
I can live with my speedometer being off by 2 mph,
But if the shift points being off are going to screw up my transmission over time I wanna know.
I have a few offroading trips planned In the next couple months, But for the most part its my DD.

2011 JKU Auto 3.73 gears
285/70r17 Duratracs

Thanks!

i've got the procal and 33s. the main reason i got the procal was to turn off the lights (low tire pressure) on the dashboard so my rig could pass inspection.

you'll be fine without it so long as what you started out with was a 32" tire. if you had smaller tires, i would kick down the $100 or so to get your shift points on.

I went from stock tires to 33s. I drove around for a while before I ordered it. Wow, what a difference. It's like new again haha. I think it's worth it. It also comes in handy with TPMS lights and idle level for winching. When I regear, I can also adjust for that. It's worth the money, in my opinion.

So the procal will fix my shift points going from the stock rubi wheels/tires to some 285's? My jeep seems a little "confused" when I mash the gas sometimes like it doesn't know which gear to pick.....LOL

What about with a manny and going from 32's to 33's? Any benefits from the procal?

Clears the trouble code.

Your JK can display the codes....or you can use a hand held code reader.
