I tried to do the mod where I turn the flare running lights to turn signals by tapping into the blinker. I cut the black wire coming from the light and spliced it into the outmost white wire to the signal. Now no side running lights. No blink either. What did I do? Bad bulbs? They looked good.

 

Funny thing, I just read the write up and the first post says cut the black wire off the marker light, then the second post says cut the white/green wire. I think the black is ground so the marker/ turn signal function would be from the white/green wire. I'm not positive but I hope this helps. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...rker+light+mod
