Default Center both axles with just adjustable front track bar and a rear relocation bracket?

For those of you who only have a front adjustable track bar and a rear relocation bracket, were you able to get both front and rear axles centered?

My passenger side tires stick out about 1/2" more than on my driver side and that's both in the front and rear. I already have a front adjustable trackbar, but I have the bracket in the rear which is mounted on the frame side at the top, not on the axle mount position (not sure if this is right). If I want to get both my axles centered under the Jeep, will I just need to adjust the front more? Will the rear automatically come into center when I do this? Or do I need need an adjustable track bar for the rear? I'll see if I can get some pics of my set-up the way it is right now if that helps.

You will need a rear adjustable trackbar to center the rear better.

So if i get a rear adjustable, should I remove the rear relocation bracket, or keep it? Come to think of it, every lift is probably a little different, maybe I'll try contacting Trailmaster and see what they have to say.

With a 2.5" you could do either actually. I would see how your JK rides/handles for you with both setups and go from there.

My lift is 4.5" if that's what you meant. But thanks for your help, you guys have always been right there to answer any of my questions and I appreciate your help.

Is it axle side relocation bracket or frame side? I have a 4" with the axle side relocation bracket (which I prefer) and its only out 3/16" of an inch.

If you go with the adjustable track-bar and remove the bracket I'm not sure how much room you will have to adjust. You might be better off keeping the bracket and doing final adjustments with the adjustable track-bar.

Also remember that the axle will move around when the Jeep is in motion so you don't have to be exact, but a 1/2" is a bit... I'd look to correct with axle side bracket and adjustable track bar...

Good luck~

The bracket on the rear is mounted on the frame side. Here's a couple pics...

Bracket on the rear frame side:

Passenger side:

Driver's side: Might be out more than a half inch I don't know, haven't measured it...

The adjustable track bar will take care of the difference. If its a 1/2" off to one side you'll only need .25" in that direction to even things out.

Whats the distance center to center from the original bolt in the track bar to the center of the bolt in the bracket? From the pic it does not look 4.5".... If that's the case your geometry will be out. The new bracket length needs to match your lift height. Depending of your jeep, weight, mods --- some lifts will give you more or less left resulting in an off-center axle even when using a relocation bracket.

I recommend trying to get the axle adjusted with the adjustable track bar and forget the bracket. Frame side brackets sometimes don't cut it and bend or break. If the new track bar does not have enough adjustment you need to utilize both to get your self centered.....

or get yourself an EVO manufacturing axle side relocation bracket - Its bolt on but I welded mine for extra strength.. Its very strong

You've been a great help. Thanks! I think next time I head into the Northridge 4x4 here in Ponoka I'll have Stan
(the owner) see if he can set me up with a good adjustable rear track bar that would work for my Jeep. Judging by the amount of threads left on my front track bar, do you think there is enough room to adjust it properly still?
