Default what would you do 2012 or older jk and hemi swap it

what would you do buy the 2012 jk or buy an older jk an put a hemi in it prob been ask a bunch of times but im askin again cuz i cant find it, been drooling on this site for couple months now had my heart set on a new 2012, then mod the hell out of it, but then started looking at the hemi swaps and got thinking the power would be sweet to roll the 37s so now im looking for your opinions on this cuz the way i see it im gonna be spending about the same in the long run either way, thanks all for your opinions

Well depending if you like the new interior go with 11, plus aev has kits for them. Not sure if they have them for the 12s yet.

If you like the old interiors 07-10 go for that as it would be cheaper.

I think I also read somewhere that the 5 speed in the 12's work with the hemi, but not sure if this is correct or not.

Properly geared, seems like the new 2012 would roll 37's just fine. And lots of people do that on stock axles.

But if my plan to "mod the hell out of it" included running 37's and any serious wheeling, I would also be planning heavier axles, beefing most the steering and suspension, driveshafts, etc. In which case I would probably buy a used JK since I would be replacing half of it anyway.

But thats just me.
