Default Windshield Lights

Bare with me... I don't know what I am talking about...

I want to get some windshield lights like some KC's... but I don't know which ones to get, is there a kit?

I want something pretty easy, fairly cheap, I don't need the lights to be super bright or strong, just some extra light would be nice...

Suggestions???

Personally I prefer the outward look over the others. But that is just each person's own taste.

Lights- many lights and sizes to chose from. KC Slimlights seem to be the most popular. They are 6" lights- you can either buy them individually, or as a kit- best to just get the kit as it contains all the wiring harness, relay, switch, etc..

here's the kit - http://www.quadratec.com/products/97048_20.htm

There are many other companies making lights though. KC just seems to be the most popular. But shop around and you may decide on another brand. Also look at member pictures to see differences in the size. I personally prefer 8" look over the 6". But 8" is quite a bit more expensive.

Here's some picture of Clackey's rig with 6" and then again with 8" (his pictures are what sold me on going with 8" - which I haven't done yet due to cost)

Here's his ride with the 6"

And here's the 8"

Also note that he is using the Mopar brackets. The Mopar brackets are probably a necessity for the 8" lights because they move the lights outwards far enough to not be an obstruction. The KC & Rogged Ridge brackets may have the larger lights moved to far inside and be an obstruction to your view.
Thank you so much that is a big help!

Go with the Mopar brakets, the lights end up in a better spot - wider and lower. I put the PIAA 525's on my jeep, and the wiring was easy, relays and fuses are all pre-assembled. And the lights work great.

Anyone know if the River Raider Snorkel works with the Mopar light bracket?
I see Slick Will has some lights and the snorkel but Im not sure if its the mopar bracket being used.
