Default Need help on stock fenders

I am going wheeling with a few guys on here Dec. 8th and 9th. I have taken soooo much time deciding on what I need for a 4inch SuperLift and now its to late. I'm getting a lift and flat fenders but theres no time before this trip. Has any one cut up their stock fenders? I need more space and these fenders are the only real thing in my way for now. I have seen a guy running stock lift with 36's but flat fenders and he really only needs a inch to flex out all the way. If I can cut these up I can get what I need to get on this trip, worse case senerio is my stock X car tires and its not going to happen I'd rather flex and break my stock fenders off or cut them than to miss hanging out with a few guys on this site on the 8th and 9th.

I'd really apprecaite any and all help I can get on this

2 or three of my retention clips came undone. It was a MAJOR pain in the @$$ to get it fixed back on.... beware!

That is a good idea man. I thought about that but was kinda just seeing what everyone thought and see if anyone has cut these things up. I may just do that but it may kinda suck because the inner fender wells will have to come off because they meet the outside of the stock fenders. I can take them off also but I don't relly know whats under there. It may look funny but if I get to go wheeling and have fun they can laugh all they want...lol.

The little clips on the top of the fenders? Yea, I hear yea I have 3 or 4 on both sides undone right now but haven't tried to get them back on because a stock lift its a waste of time because they will just come back off.

I'm in the process of doing this today. I have the back flares off and have cut the wheelwell back to where it meets the jeeps body and I hacked them off where the flares step down. With these things off I'm getting NO rubbing but with no lift on it still gets to close to hitting the body up in front of the back tires...to close for comfort although I don't think it will hit because the tire can't flex forward. It looks ok until my flat flares get here.
