Pennsylvania?
Well im looking into getting a MBRP exhaust, most likely the Black Series "offroad" which has no cat, and im not exactly sure if thats legal in PA, i have a feeling its not. Does anyone live in or know anything about PA's laws in regards to cats? Thanks ^^
That is installed downstream of the factory cats. That's why they call it a "cat-back" exhaust. The offroad version relocates the muffler underneath the cab, between the frame rails where it's better protected.
Is this the one you're looking at?

If it is, then it will retain the factory cats. If it's not, post the part number so we can have a look. But, to answer your original question, no, you will not pass a PA emissions inspection with no catalytic converters.

Hey guys. Could someone explain the benefits of the aftermarket pipes. Here is what Im guessing is the reason for putting them on: Weight savings, up and away from rocks (tucked), sounds/looks a lot better. The performance gains are not there, right? Dont get me wrong I once spent $1500 for a Borla exhaust/header system on my car, but that gave me another 30+ hp and made it faster. Im not trying to debate, Im really wondering if Im missing something. I do think the weight and tucking is worth it, so I would get one if I could afford mods.
