Teraflex 3" lift.....no front trackbar bracket??
Hey, I just got my TF 3" lift. It didn't come with a front track bar relocator bracket, nor do the instructions address the front trackbar. Is it just me, or do I need one? I know I needed one on my TJ. Anyone with this lift kit able to shed some light? Thanks.

I don;'t know much, but I was told by my husband and the mechanic who is doing my lift .. that its better to have one. I got the 4.5" RE .. waiting to get it installed next week now..
it has that part thats why I went with it.

ya i have that lift pretty sure i got 4 or more up front my friend who has 2.5 terra BB was in shock when he saw mine he whipped out a measuring tape on the spot.
no track bar. instaledl just what came with kit
i have no issues with this kit it works great rides good once everything breaks in.
the pass side shock comes close to the frame up droop during articulation but it is good on the high way everything is centered and fine.
I recall seeing somewhere the Chrysler worked with terra to make this kit, so perhaps ultimately it isn't required.
it's a great kit I love it. Instructions sucked but project jk had better ones

I guess that is ok, but I am anal that way, so I spent the $.
Typically once these kits have settled in place the front is off about 1/4". If we has added a trackbar to the kit then the cost would of been more. Customer may also add it later if they feel so.

Ok, so heres a pic. I got bored today and I'm waiting on my tires to arrive. Hopefully it wont be long because the JK looks like a rollerskate right now. I ordered up an OR-FAB slider bumper too. I'll update when it all comes in. Thanks deudes.
The kit was close to 700 bucks, and i added the adj. front trackbar for like 200. The kit was really good though. I had installed a 3" Full Traction lift on my TJ and the Teraflex just seemed to be made so much better. Parts were nice and powdercoated, felt solid, and the bumpstops were nice. On the FT I needed to drill a hole in the bottom of the perch to mount a bumpstop extension. With the teraflex lift they just popped into the cup where the stock bumpstops were. Nice and easy. I'm no mechanic, and this kit was a pleasure to install. I used a combo of the instructions that came with it, and a write-up on project-jk for the FT 3" kit. I just cant wait to get some tires on the thing!
