Default LoD or Shrockworks

I am debating wether to get the LoD bumper or the Schrocksworks stubby w/ no tube bar. The LoD is cheaper and both have 3/16 thick steel. I know the Schrock weights 88lbs. What does the LoD weigh? ANy opinions on which one is better? Thanks to all for your help

I asked this a few weeks ago. Here you go.

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/lod-shrockworks-mid-width-19326/

I've decided to go with Shrockworks, but now I'm undecided between the Stubby and Mid-width.

I'm getting warmer though.

Thanks for the advice. I must of over looked in when I was researching.
P.S.: DAMN YOU. Now I am looking at the mid width too

Is it me or is the Shrockworks Mid-width slightly thicker than its stubby little brother? It appears to sit higher up and cover an additional inch or so of the front grille.

Here are two pics that I "borrowed" from other threads so you can see what I mean. Thanks ski313 and WOL.

Here's ski313's mid-width and notice how high the bumper sits. You can't see the lower edge of the front grille. Notice the Warn Powerplant is also "deeper" into the bumper.

WOL's stubby seems to sit much lower and you can actually see the lower edge of the grille. Does WOL's JK have a body lift in this picture? I wouldn't think so, since the Warn Powerplant sits much higher on the bumper.

Hmmm. Just curious.

I like the slimmer look of the stubby, but like the built-in fog lights and additional light tabs in the mid-width. Time to flip a coin.

I just got my mid-width from shrockworks it was worth the wait. That thing is built like a brick shit house, and if you ever had a problem with it, I know from personal expirience they will take care of you.

I see everyone so far has suggested shrokworks....

Just wanted to say " I love my LoD front bunper with light holes and low mount winch" It is a low cost and awesome construction and I don't believe it weights any where near 80 pounds.....I believe DOOJER has one as well maybe he could chime in.....

Just put on the Shrockworks. Worth every cent! I loved how everything lined up the first time.

Talking

Shrocks stuff rocks. Everything I have that Shrock made is built to kill.

I've made bushels of venison puree with the front bumper alone, with NO damage to the truck.

(I live in NJ - hitting deer here is as common as hitting flies elsewhere)
