Default Mud tire(nitto mud, bfg crawlers) noise with a 2yr old, who's been down that road?

Just got a 2012 unlimited rubicon, i want to get 37s for it when i can, i love the nitto mud grapplers, bfg krawlers, iroks etc. my concern is my two yr boy? I'm just looking for some input of any jeepers out there with young ones and their thoughts with the noise of mudders and the ears of their kids and what you found to be ok or problems.

Mud tires put my daughter right to sleep. Same as when I had a diesel truck, she always fell asleep.

Same here, it's more like a "white noise" anyway and just puts them right to sleep. I wouldn't worry about it.

My 2 year old says "airplane" as we drive off now because of the Mud Terrains. I will say that they are pretty loud. I won't be replacing them with the same thing again (unless I get another steal of a deal). They're just too loud for my tastes, though they look awesome! I'm finally getting them off road in a couple days, so I'm anxious to see how they handle it. I don't DD my JKU anymore, so the loud tires aren't so bad I'd get rid of them, but if I DD drove it I probably would.

yeah the main concern to me is the effect on the little guy and my dog, other then that i wouldn't mind the sound.

I think the little ears will be OK. I deal with the noise, too. I have heard Goodyear Duratracs are a bit more quiet than the BFG's.
