Rubicon and 35's... Regear?
Would you need to regear a Rubicon
If you were to run 35's with the OME 2
in lift? I know you don't HAVE to but
would it be wise?
I am trying hard to talk myself out
of getting 35's!
I Emailed someone at OME and they said
of course the lift can run fine with 35's it
was really meant for 33's.
Too bad the Goodyear MT/R is so darn much
or Id get it in the 34 and call it a day.

Don't talk yourself out of getting 35's, if you do not get them you will not be satisfied with your setup. I am also using 35's with 4.10's and it is fine for now and for a while longer. Do I want to regear? Of course I do, but if I do it now I will be in big trouble from the boss, especially with Christmas coming up.
I have 35s and recently regeared to 5.13s. In the mountains of Pa, 35s with 4.10s and an auto trans were a real dog. Since you live in Michigan, you will be OK for a while with 4.10 gears. However, if you head for the mountains, you will experience a significant lack of power. It is partly the gears and partly that the shift points of the transmission are way off. Your driving up a steep hill saying to the JK "would you please down shift!" But it just ignores you and putters up the hill like an old VW bug (the ones with the 46 hp engine). Boy, that comment dates me.
