Default Aftermarket Rock slider question

I've been checking out the Shrockworks and LOD rock sliders for my 09 Unlimited Rubicon. Does mounting these with the frame bracket going on top of the transfer case skid plate bracket pose issues for changing fluids and performing maintenance? Will I need to remove the sliders when I need to get at the T case?

I mounted my Shrockworks sliders between the frame and skid (per their directions); otherwise it would be a pain to get the skid off.

I thought it would suck too! I've been looking at the Shrockworks and LoD rockslider write-ups on Project JK and all the pics seem to show the mounting brackets for the rock sliders going on top of the skidplate mounting points. So mounting the skidplates on top of the rockslider brackets won't cause any issues?

My other question, as a JK newbie... Are the transfer case and gas tank supported by the skidplates like on a TJ? or can you remove the skidplates without supporting the T case and gas tank?
