Default I have 40's swap to hydro assist

I have a 07 4dr Sahara with a 9 inch lift and 40/15.50/20 should I stay with dual stabilizers or go with Redneck Ram hydro assist? I don't do serious wheeling just every now and then. I'll do some trail riding, not to many rocks in San Antonio.

You might be able to pull it off for a while or hell maybe even forever, but that is a whole bunch of rubber for that little pump and steering gear to move around. Don't know if you have the opportunity to drive a rig that is running a hydraulic-assist set up, but it will change your mind. With my set up, at a dead stop, with engine idling, my 5 foot nothing 100 pound wife can turn my JK's steering wheel with one finger in the spokes of the steering wheel. It really is that easy. The steering is not flighty, but very precise at all speeds.

Try to test drive a hydro assist set up

Default and another thing....

If you do decide to run a ram assist, spend just a little extra on an external cooler for the power steering pump. I burned my first pump driving from AZ to CO during the winter. The hwy speeds generated much more heat than I thought and it ate the bearings pretty quick, I don't know maybe it was a defective pump too Anyway, I bought an inline heat sink style cooler by Derale and have not had a problem since, even in the hot ass Phoenix 110+ degree heat all last summer.

Ya its a short arm kit (6" lift, 1.75" spacers & 1.25" BL). It rides harsh, getting a short arm kit and pushing out that big was the worst decision ever. That's why I'm changing it all out.

Long arms are the way to go for a lift that high. I actually prefer a lower center of gravity, but your rig looks pretty beast man.
