Default Anyone running 35s on stock rims

I'm lifting my jeep the end of the month. If not before(weather permitting) and I'm getting 35s. I think I'm leaning towards gy durotraks. Is anyone running these on factory rims. How much spacing is on the spacers? Any pics? Prefer 2dr since that's what I got. Also can you fit 35 on stock tire carrier? Thanks in advance for any input.

You would have to run spacers on the wheels to not rub with thirty fives. But about the stock tire carrier I have no idea.. I wouldn't risk it though. Just store the tire in the back of the jeep.

There are hundreds of threads on this same topic. Look it up. W stock wheels u need 1.5 in spacers and yea it will work on the tire carrier but will not last very long.

What do you mean it won't last very long? Like the weight will eventually break the carrier?

It could bend the carrier and the tire will be rubbing the bumper when you open or close it.

Stock carrier is fine for 35's... I (and others) have had no issues with 35's strapped on to the stock carrier.

It will pop the spot welds on the tailgate. I've had a 35 on my stock carrier for 2 years and it is on its last leg. Starting to rattle pretty bad...

I've logged around 1 year with +30K miles and been on at least 6 trail rides since mounting my 35" to the stock carrier with no issues. No weld pops on mine.

I split a set of 1.5" RR wheel spacers with another forum member and purchased the daystar extended tire stops. The tire rubs ever so slightly on the bumber when shutting the rear gate for a snug fit. IMO - It's a solid option until you get a tire carrier.

When I upgraded to 35's, the tire shop would not install them onto the stock rims since they were the wrong dimensions. I had the 35's on the stock tire carrier for about 2 months, then things really started to rattle. I've since gon to an after market tire carrier.
