Factory Limited Slip worth the $295 ?
Still researching and gathering opinions for my planned 2012 Wrangler purchase.
Is the Limited Slip worth getting? I've generally had poor experience with them in the past. Never have impressed me overall and after having several lockers (in larger/longer trucks) I hesitate to spend the money on a clutch driven limited slip.
Not planning on going rock crawling, mud bogging, or even wheeling all that hard with it. Still, I'd like it to be capable and versatile beyond just taking me to work every day.
Spend the $295 on the limited slip or skip it, go open, and save for a lunch box like an Aussie Locker, Lock Right, or NoSlip? I loved the NoSlip I had in my Ranger's 8.8".
