I am awaiting my JKU that was shipped on 01/23. Spoke to my dealer yesterday to get an update and he told me that Jeep severed ties with their national trucking company so wherever my jeep was when that happened is where it was left. He said it should just be a couple of more days. Picturing my Jeep up on cinder blocks on a street corner. I called Jeep and they know nothing about it. Has anyone heard about this? My spidey senses are tingling. Hoping he is not just saying this to stall while they repair my jeep that fell off the carrier. Totally don't trust dealers...

 

The old national trucking company was shut down, but that was a while ago, To the best of my knowledge the new shipper is still behind as they had a small fleet. Most jeeps are shipped by rail now to the nearest depot and then put out for delivery. Definitely makes delivery longer. Biggest issue apparently is rail dust on the paint, you may need to clay bar the jeep when you get it. I to am awaiting my new mall crawler but i expect it to be a while yet.
