Default Magnaflow 15115 Catback System for 2012 Wrangler Unlimited

Does anyone know what muffler this kit uses? I'd rather just buy the muffler instead of pay the $650 for the whole system.

I just got my Magnaflow muffler at Pepboys for $70 and got it installed for $80. Sounds good and looks like factory

Sweet. By chance have you checked out the sound clip of the JK exhaust on the magnaflo website? If so, does it sound close, or maybe you have a sound clip of your setup.....?

Thanks for posting!

The JK doesn't have a resonator unless mine didn't come with one cause it went from the muffler to the tip with nothing else there. Here's how my jeep sounds. It doesn't sound like a euro either. My cousin has a borla muffler on his and mine is just a tap higher pitch than his but basically the same.

Thanks for posting. Here is the resonator on my 2012 Arctic. Did you get yours new?

Either it's a state thing where you live, or a 2012 Arctic thing cause my 2011 is just straight pipe from the cat to the muffler. Yeah I bought it brand new.

I wonder if it has something to do with the different motor?

Oh...I see, I thought you had a 2012 JK. I had an 08 JK with the 3.8 platform and it did not have the resonator. The 2012's have the 3.6, this might have something to do with. The new motor may have a different sound also. Thanks for posting anyway.
