Default 35" tires rubbing on the front splash shield

I just got my 35's installed on my JKU that has a Teraflex BB lift. At full lock the tires are rubbing on the front splash shield. Anyone else have this issue? If so what did you do? Trim the splash shield or some sort of additional lift.

It's a common issue. I just yanked mine.

If you're talking about that plastic air dam device, most people tear it out, if it hasn't already torn itself off on the trail.

I would notch the corners personally.

Thanks for the quick replies. I got real concerned when I first heard the rub, not knowing what it was. I never heard the issue mentioned before in past threads. I'll trim it up tomorrow.

Wife wanted to keep the plastic until she gets a skid plate. I cut off the offending area, can't even tell.

I would just take it off. It looks way better and doesn't protect anything. The only good thing it does is help prevent hood lift when driving at higher speeds
