If you can wait, ACE fab and engineering is experimenting with a couple versions. Not sure when the production date is though...

Keep watching the for sale sections. A few months ago I picked up a Congo Cage in near perfect condition for 200.

I really love my Stealth rack from Gobi! But it was not cheap, and have needed to upgrade my shocks-body lean in corners after the 3" lift. I get up on it to photograph when ever I get the time.

What kind of roof rack are you looking for?

Do you have a hard top and would be OK bolting it to the roof top?

Would you mind not having the rack when you remove the hard top, if you remove it?

If you answered yes to the last two questions, take a look at the Thule system. Several folks here, including me, have it and it's great. Easy to install and, if you look around, sometimes the basket comes by on craigslist.

I love the gobi, but it's a lot to shell out, and I can Imagine it's a pain in the winter to clean with the snow and ice, also adding a lot of weight to the jeep.

I also have been looking at Warrior Products' Safari Rack, I like it because it has a fast back design and would look great with the Trektop. I don't like that it bolts onto the body.

I am about to pull the trigger on a Yakima set up from Quadratec for a little over 300$. It will work well for me as I just need it for skis and Kayaks. If you want the whole roof basket and light bar setup you can do all that too with it.
