Default Stock jeep Unlimited

Been looking over the forum for a while now and decided to join. After recently turning 16 my dad decided to let me have/drive his 2010 Unlimited Mountain, and I just dont like the stock look.. Hoping you guys can help me out. If any of you have a custom mountain edition with lifts Id love to see them.

Now I believe the Mountain edition runs on 31" tires, and thats just not working for me. It sits way to low in my opinion and Im hoping to get some money and do some major changes.

Some modifications Ive been wanting to do were to change the fornt and rear bumpers(thinking of going with Smittybilt's XRC), a lift(not sure what yet), some bigger tires, and getting some Bushwacker fenders. Maybe some others to come later but right now that's all I personally would like to see done. My dad's onboard with the modifications so I was hoping to get some inspiration from some of you guys.

Please post any ideas or pictures of said ideas as I would really appreciate your input

I'm 16 and my dad granted me the keys to my 2010 rubicon just like you and I did many mods on it and still waiting for my liscens so I joined and started just like you and I'm still out a couple months for my liscens but it is fun to do! Some nice choices and the mounted I beilve has the same tires as the rubicon 32's but going to a 35 on the stubby XRC buschwaker flat flares and 2.5 lift would be very efficient and look badass! Just my 2 cents dude! Here's a pic of mine! Now on 37's and 2.5 lift !

I hear ya... I was driving my dad's old Ford Festiva at 16... When I was lucky. The shifter was as long as my arm.

To those who got Jeeps at 16: I don't begrudge you your Jeeps at all, but I hope you treat them well and bloody love your parents!

I do treat it ao well! I'm a clean freak and constantly wash her and wheel and wash I just want it to last for a long time! My dad still daily drives it but with all my work money and holiday cash I could do this and beauty is everything I did with my hands and my money besides the purchase 2 years ago! I just want to keep the JEEP name proud!

I hear ya.. I love my(dads) jeep and I'm lucky to have such a great machine. Just got to talking to my dad too, and we don't see eye to eye about the bumpers.

I showed him the XRC and he doesn't like it too much... He's hooked on wanting a three-tube across bumper and two lights on the front.

Any opinions on which you guys prefer the look of? I really like the modern look of the jk and XRC together.
