Default Help find me some black rims...18x9

Does anyone even know of another company that makes rims similar to the Pro Comp 8069's or the Mickey Thompson Classic II's in an 18x9 size? I really want some classic looking rims like that in black, but can't seem to find any in 18" sizes. I found out the other day that the Pro Comp 8069's were discontinued.

I'm open to other suggestions that you guys might think would look good on an expedition-style modded JK. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Interesting... I know that they made them in 18x9. I looked on the site and it is not there. Maybe special order only.

I did find this not sure if it still is for sale.

EDIT: I run American Racing Mojave Teflons, and they are available in 18x9 for sure. Similar look but a greyish teflon color which I love!

Hey guys! I just found a set of 5 wheels that I really like... Level 8 Tracker wheels 18x9 in black. I just ordered some from Discount Tire Direct and they gave me a sweet deal and free shipping to Canada straight to my door.

Here's the thread where I found them on...

I think they look even better than the 8069's. They actually only come in 5" backspace I found out, but the the guy I talked to said they should work fine with my lift anyways. I really hope he's right about that! Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Good you found a set, I just went through the same process. I settled on a set of ATX AX181's in 18X9 with 4.5 back space.

If worse comes to worse and I do have to run spacers with these rims, will a set of 1.25" spacers look or function all that bad on a rim that already has 5" backspacing? I don't have a problem running a set of Spidertrax if need be. It seems that there are plenty of people running the XD Rockstars with 5" backspacing though and 18x9 rims.

In my opinion they will work just fine. I would suggest smaller spacers over the larger options though..

Thanks! Do they actually make smaller spacers of the bolt on type like Spidertrax, or would they have to be custom made?

Too bad you guys weren't closer I have 5 perfect condition 8069 ProComp 18x9 , 4.75 BS wheels with Nitto Trail Graplers in the 295x70r18 version (equates to 34.5 inches) for sale. One tire and wheel has never seen the pavement.

Dang! If I were closer I'd take em for sure. I love the 8069's. These ones are only costing me $900 shipped to Canada though, so that's not bad. A lot of companies won't even ship to Canada. I was at the Canadian Tire store the other day and they quoted me at $1600 for a set of XD Addicts. They are just way over priced on everything up here.

This is how they look on a JK...(not mine though)

Can't wait to get rid of the chrome!!
