2012 - This a good deal?
Looking to purchase a 2012 JKU, Sport S, Hardtop, Auto. The otd the price is $31,700. Is this a good price or is it way off? When it comes to finances I'm as tight lipped as it gets, so I don't expect anyone who has purchased one to give hard numbers. I am just looking for some first hand experience on whether this sounds about right or not. Thanks
Thats pretty good, I bought my 2011 sport s with the connectivity package, hardtop, and sahara steps last march for 32 out the door. I'm also financing that at 2% but thats dependent on credit scores, geographical area, banks, etc. Just so you know, you can sign up for tread lightly and get 1% below invoice. I'm pretty sure your jeep is invoicing somewhere around 28-29.

with no trade you should be able to get it under invoice. I called a lot of dealers and ended up traveling 200 miles
to get it but that was a big savings. If they have it on there lot and they don't have to go get it form another
dealer they will want to get read of it for there kick back at the end of the quarter. Good luck!
I also bought a 12 JKU Rubi for well under invoice. Sticker was $38,590 and I bought it for $33,611 ($2500 under invoice or ~7%). I would make sure you are around at least 3% under invoice, but really it is what ever you are comfortable with
You have more work to do tempeyeep. You have left thousands on the table. My Jeep Sticker was 37K, I paid 32K

I appreciate the input. I had heard second hand that the dealerships were not willing to negotiate on the sticker price because of the high demand for JK's. Which seemed a little odd, a dealership not willing to negotiate. I'm glad I posted the question. As we all know the purchase of a Jeep is just the beginning. Every dollar saved helps. Thanks

All dealership negotiation is how many dealers are in play, unless you're lucky. I live in Seattle, and have never paid above invoice for a new vehicle, but I have also driven to south Portland (3.5 hours), and West Idaho, (5 Hours) to save $1000. It's just timing, and persistence on getting a deal you're comfortable with. Good luck.
That is msrp pricing plus tax title and license. Take 28200 and add 10% for otd cost approximately.
I was offered 34100 otd on a msrp rubicon of 33300. 29k or under otd would be great price. 29k to 30k otd price would be a good price for the vehicle you want that has the 28200 msrp.
