Default Radiator fan problem, need help please

So I posted this morning about having some electrical issues. I unplugged the battery, waited a few minutes, and reconnected it. Problem solved...

Then I noticed that the radiator fan wasn't running although the engine was. I pushed the accelerator and it would run for a little bit and then stop. Sometimes it would start up while sitting in idle. Anybody have any idea what the deal is?

I tend to splash through puddles at every opportunity and was wondering if I had managed to get water inside the fan's housing and jacked it up somehow. Anybody have a clue what's going on, or is this just normal?

The fan comes on when the engine temp reaches 215°F, and stays on until the temp is reduced to about 195°F.

So, it's common to see the fan not running when the engine is.

Are you seeing any signs the engine is overheating, (gauge climbing beyond straight up, coolant recovery bottle over-flowing, etc.)?

No I'm not. That's why part of me suspected the intermittent fan was normal.

Check the wiring if it’s cut or loose pin
