Default 150k mile rubicon unlimited 2007

Would anybody have issues with buying a 2007 Rubicon unlimited automatic with 150k miles on it?

How many high mileage jk jeeps are running around? What should I look for when I go look at it?

Give me your opinions.

Thanks,

Chris

I got a 2010 and we just turned 80,000 no problems but we change all fluid very often. And I did me all fluids as in axles, trans, transfer, brakes, etc.

Parts will fail eventually but if the price is right you could replace and have a new machine w a hemi on the cheap! Just saying lol

My thoughts are the same. Things will need replacing, but I won't be that upset getting scratched or dinged off roading. New Rubi's are 40k. We will drive it about 7k-10k miles a year. I figure the engine might be good to 200k, the trans may go at anytime. It must be highway miles to rack 'em up that quick.

I may go look at it this weekend.

You would need to tell us how much they want for it.

Will all depend on the asking price, I would say if they are asking $12-15 ish then it might be worth getting serviced to have it checked out. if the are asking more then that say the 17-20 window then no.

KBB estimates the value of a 2007 Rubicon with hard top @150k miles in the 8-12 window

If you get it around 10-12, you can put a hemi in it for ~$6500 if you do labor yourself. Bit more expensive if you need to find a hemi and kit and have AEV or BO do it.
