Default Am I getting a good deal? $$$$$$$ 3300

i live in san diego and am getting my new JKU auto from the factory in a few weeks. The local 4x4 shop in town quoted me a price of 3300$$$ for a 4" teraflex lift, 4.10 gears, and window on all windows of the jeep.

Is $ 3300 a good price for parts and install? I've never installed a lift kit or gears or else I would do it myself.

I won't name the 4x4 shop out of courtesy...

What size tires are you going with that you're only upgrading to 4.10s?

I have seen better but I have definitely seen worse.. Depending on how involved our lift is (complicated long arm ect.) that really might not be too bad. I would still do some homework at other shops personally but that's just my .02

I'm putting the 35" Cooper stt's on the jeep. And it's not going to be the Long arm lift. I won't be crawling or anything hardcore..just camping, light trails, and weekend warrior type stuff

Well if you're talking about the teraflex 4" kit with arms ($2300) 2 sets of gears and install kits ($400-$700 depending on where you go and what you get) and window tint ($250-$300), then no, you're getting a good deal for $350 labor at most. I would question the install/labor quality at that price. Don't let anyone hack up your rig.

Can you break in down for us a little more.... Lift price? Gear prices? Number of hrs for labour?
I did the Teraflex 3" lift and Yukon 5.13 gears on separate ocassions I paid more then your quote.... But then again up here in Canada we're always getting bent over and paying thru our noses.

Oh yeah you said 4 dr auto???? With 35's coming.... Why are you only putting 4.10's in?????? I'd be doing 5.13's or atleast 4.88's...... Reseach gear choices out here with a auto jku on 35's
