Will a 2010 K&N CAI work for the 2012 models?

Default Will a 2010 K&N CAI work for the 2012 models?
I recently just totaled my 2010 JKU thanks to a cab driver blowing a red light. Anyhow I know my superchip won't be compatible with my new 2012 but I was hoping my k&n cai will be?

Also I was able to save my 35's and wana mount before a lift. Is it possible with just a fender chop till I can locate a lift afterwards
