Default Tire Crisis!!

This morning I ordered my 15x8 MB 72 wheels... I've had plans to go to 35s for a while now but my budget is controlled by the wife.
My plan was to go with the General Grabber AT2 which I can get for a little under $190 each. Here's the conundrum.
They are on Nation wide back order until at least June along with every other AT 35x12.50r15 except a $240 DC which is more than i want to spend.

So here is my question. Who thinks i should wait and and use these new rims as paper weights until June to get 35s?

Or buy 33s, ride them until they die, then get 35s down the road?

Let me also say that my stock tires are in pretty bad shape, I'm going to NEED tires either way pretty soon.. (if my wife asks in "need" them right now)

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I like the Grabbers but would opt to go with 35 Nitto Trail Grapplers or Toyos if they come in 15" These are capable well proven tires and many people on the forum run them.

I wouldn't go with 33s if you have 35s on your mind. You will regret it...

Edit: I just read your every 15" is on backorder. I saw that when I looked up a few brands. That sucks!!

I found BF Goodrich, Cooper, Goodyear at 2 places online. PM me if you are interested and I will send you the sites. Disclaimer: I have never purchased from either of these sites.

I guess I forgot to mention one of the biggest factors.. I'm currently stationed in South Korea so shipping is a huge issue.

You will hate 33s almost immediately after you put them on. Remember 33s end up being 32ish and 35 end up being 34ish. The "jump" to 33 is just not worth it, and I can almost guarantee you will regret it.

Have you checked around locally in Korea? Are there any tire shops available there to shop for tires.

I've checked every tire shop within a 30 mile radius.. they don't carry anything even as big as stock over here.. Kumho and Hankook are made here but it's cheaper to have them shipped from the states than it is to buy them in Korea.. it's ridiculous..
