After a year of running on 2.5" TF kit with 3/4" additional spacers I've decided I need to gain as much travel as possible with this rather small lift kit. For that I need to measure exactly how much travel I have downwards and upwards and come up with the proper bump stops and proper length shocks.

Basically I think I will need to take apart my current suspension, take off bumpstops and shocks and then flex one wheel at a time for its upwards and downwards travel.

So did any of you guys came up with the trick on fully flexing your suspension on the driveway with the HighLift or floor jack or other methods?

 

would love to know as well. I always have to go out hunting for something to flex on after doing suspension work, and most time I can only find something to flex the front end (aka finding a construction side or some similar pile of rubish)

So in reality it seems that I can't really do it in home condition without a forklift :-(.

All i can say is WOW!

 

Get a Floor Jack. chock behind it. Drive up onto it. Start pumping it away up till you touch fenders.

It takes some time, two people, and a lot of concrete pads, but can be done.

I could have gone higher but ran out of pads :(

 

I've thought about doing that but was concerned about the jack moving - and now that you've said it - gonna chock it
