Rugged Ridge XHD Non-Winch to winch mount?
I have an XHD rugged ridge bumper for my JK, my question is to see if it is possible to make it a winch capable bumper. Is this something that can me done? I have looked everywhere and can't find anything. I don't really mind if it isn't recessed into the bumper. Can I just use a winch plate and bolt it directly to the bumper or do I have to do something else?

I know this is an old thread but was wondering if anyone has done this? I made the mistake of not getting the winch version and don't want to dish out another $3-400+ on a new one.
Is a winch plate all I need or should I just suck it up and get a new one?
