Default Looking for A/T tire advise

I've been running 35" KM2s for the last 4 years and just haven't had many opportunities to take advantage of them as a mud tire. The JK is my daily driver and my wife and I want to start taking longer road trips as well. The road noise gets old after many hours on the road. I've come to love the aggressive look of the KM2, but want something I can squeeze more miles out of and that is better suited for long road trips and a daily driver. I was going to go with a 37" BFG T/A because the weight was very similar to the 35" KM2 I was running and I have the flawed mentality that each time I replace something it must be bigger, badder, and apparently more expensive. About the only thing I don't like about the BFG T/A is the lack of an aggressive sidewall which is purely aesthetic for me. Is this a good tire for my needs and what others are recommended? The profile of the BFG A/T reminds me of Brock Lesnar's head.

Hahahaha the Brock comparison is epic ! And I'm crying ! Hopes he's not a member ! .... If so Brock ! Don't hit me I'm a lightweight & I'm sorry ! !

As for the those T A KOS ... I can only speak for them on my truck ! Also use to be my DD until the jeep .... They have wore amazingly ! & even !
I personally love the look of them for a AT tire and was considering them for my new jeep ! ... No noise either ... So my useless 2 cents ! Good luck ! & avoid Brock !

I would look at pro comp extreme a/t or just their a/t and you can always seem to find a buy 3 get one free deal on these. I have the xtreme mud terrain and they are holding up great on the road but of course the all terrain would do better. But very quiet tires. Even mine!

ProComp makes some great AT tires...especially their Xtreme AT. I run 305/65/R17 and they wear like iron, not too noisy for an aggressive tread, and balance pretty good.

Have you looked at the Mickey Thompson ATZ as an A/T tire. I am considering these, but they are very $$$.

They're basically the same tire as the Cooper Zeon that I run on my Ram1500. Can't remember if Cooper owns MT or MT owns Cooper. either way, they're great tires in all conditions.

Check out the falken wildpeak at. They are quiet and have a side lug pattern plus they have a 50k mile tread life warranty. I love mine just wish they were35's.

Pretty sure your thinking that its Cooper who makes the ProComp tires... same tire, just different tread pattern/design...

Just checked to be sure, Cooper bought MT in 2003. My Cooper Zeons and the MT-ATZs have the exact tread pattern, almost right down to the siping. Really good tire, I don't even get too much slide in the pickup on wet pavement.
