Default New Winch or swap off my Cherokee

So I just purchased a 09 Rubicon Unlimited and have an XRC-8 winch from xmas that has been on my XJ that I'm selling. It was used once and worked great to yank my buddy out a hole in his 06 unlimted (non-4dr). So should I just sell the XRC8 on the Cherokee and get a 10,000 lb winch or move over the XRC8 and sell the Cherokee cheaper?

I hear an XRC8 will be good, but it's the lower limit of range on the JKU.

I would probably sell it and go with an 9 or 10k winch

XRC-8 will be fine. Alot of people run the 8,000 series in several brands without trouble. For security i would suggest a snatch block.

I was considering that as an option. Is there increased weight with the XRC10 or larger winch in the 9000-10000 range? From specs it looks like a gearing change only.
