Default For those of you with the Poison Spyder rigid pillar light mounts...

Put some door trim on the tops if you use a cover. When I have the doors/windows/top off I put a cover on the cab at night so I don't have to sit in a soggy seat in the morning. Yesterday I tore it stretching taught. The tops of the poison spyder mounts for the rigid 50" light bars have some sharp edges. Cured that issue by simply putting some door trim on it. Will try to get a pic up tonight. No more ripping of the cover now.

Good info. For what it's worth, I knocked down all the sharp edges with the grinder before I painted them. May not solve the issue had, but I did not like the sharp edges either.

I was thinking of doing the same when I take them off. I will be drilling holes on the inside edge of the driver one to run zip ties through to hold the cord run. May grind down the pointy stuff then as well.

I redid the wiring harness. I removed the plastic sheath around the wires. Then added the nylon flexible sheath around the wires. That made them thinner. I was then able to push the wire harness into the space between the window and the frame. Thus hiding the wires. My simple solution.

How much were they pinced between the mount and body? That was my biggest concern with cutting the sheath off.
