From what you are describing the 1310 should be just fine

What front axle do you have and have you made any mods to it yet?

The reason being... I was contemplating the same thing about a month ago. The advice I got was that its better to break a driveshaft component when your wheeling than an axle component. So unless you have a loaded Prorock 44 or a D60 up front, I'd say that the 1310 should be plenty. The 1350 would be overkill and TOO strong. That's why I went with the Coast 1310 in the front, which I'll be installing this weekend!

Ditto Prime8

I was told the same thing, best to have a weak point that is easier to fix. I installed the Coast 1310 driveshaft and am very happy with it.

Can you expand on "too strong"?

As was said, you want that drive line u joint to be your weak spot. Better than the ring or pinion taking the force of a break, versus a twenty dollar u joint.

I ran 1310's with 37's for a couple years with no problems at all. I do hard rock crawling a few times a year.
