Has anyone coated their bumpers, rock rails, corners, skids et cetera in Line-X? Seems like it might be a good idea as their the most likely parts to take a beating off road.

Rock rails would be an interesting one, would the texture cause them to "stick" when sliding over obstacles?

I've seen pictures of jeeps fully lined, from what I understand, line-X is a pretty heavy coating. Would that not adversely affect the performance and handling of a Jeep?

I have no data to back this up, however I have a neighbor with a fully lined exterior and he believes it is heavy enough to adversely affect power but has not complained about handling. That said he has the 3.8 liter engine and 35" tires which may also cause a reduction in power. Also, I am not sure what he's running for gears....
