Quick Tire Question-Ordering in a few Mins-Nitto vs. Duratrac
Down to my two choices, both in stock. Duratracs about $75 more expensive, not a factor.
Nitto Trail 295/70R18s or Duratracs 315/70R17s.Running these with a Teraflex Leveling kit and Bushwacker Flats on my 11 JKU. Jeep is my DD, sees some highway miles, nothing crazy. Wanted to go with Duratrac 325's but they only had them in 20' wheels, not my style.
I think the Nittos are taller, but by how much??

Think I'm going with the Nitto's. The wheels I want, MHT Fuel Gauge Black, only come in an 18. I was worried about the extra weight of the Nitto but am going to order an OR Fab carrier from Northridge. Right now I have a few quotes out, but for 5 Nittos, 5 18' Fuels, Mounted, Balanced, and with the new lugs so they fit I'm quoted at 2700. I'll just have to remove my sensors from my old tires, saving me 40 bucks a tire.
Seem like a fair price?

Sounds like a fair price to me. I bout the 185/70R17 duratracs without rims and they ran me roughly 266 a piece. Probably too late for my input but I like mine, they run very quiet on the highway and do really well offroad. The center portion doesn't clean the best in the mud but they still don't seem to have any problems.

In terms of price - yeah 2500-3000k is the usual range.
